Swapsease Terms of Service (Draft)

This policy is a working draft for launch readiness and is pending legal review. TODO (Legal Review): Validate wording, jurisdiction, and compliance obligations before publication.

1. Eligibility and account responsibilities

  • Users must meet applicable legal age requirements in their jurisdiction.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account and listing information.
  • Account credentials must be kept secure and not shared with unauthorized parties.

2. Platform role and limitations

Swapsease provides tools for discovery, matching, and communication between users. Swapsease is not a party to private swap agreements made between travelers.

3. User content and listing responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for listing accuracy, availability, and house condition details.
  • Content submitted to the platform must not violate laws or third-party rights.
  • Users grant Swapsease a limited license to display content for service operation.

4. Prohibited behavior

  • Fraudulent listings, impersonation, or deceptive conduct.
  • Harassment, abuse, or unsafe behavior toward other users.
  • Attempts to disrupt app security, data integrity, or normal operation.

5. Subscription and billing terms

Swapsease Unlimited subscriptions are sold and managed through Apple App Store billing. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds are subject to Apple policies.

6. Disclaimers and liability limits

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Swapsease disclaims warranties and limits liability for indirect or consequential damages.

7. Termination

Swapsease may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create safety or legal risk. Users may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion through in-app account settings.
